Family mourns after 13-year-old girl killed by ETS bus

Family members are mourning the death of a 13-year-old girl after she was struck and killed by a ETS bus on Saturday evening.

Relatives have identified the victim as Mariama Sillah, who was in a marked crosswalk when she was hit.

This is the second fatality involving a pedestrian and ETS bus in two months.

The collision occurred at around 7:40 p.m. near 137th Avenue and 40th Street. The girl, who police initially said was 14 years old, was crossing 137th Avenue southbound on 40th street in a crosswalk when she was hit by the bus.
